And yes, you got me right! (not sure on the colors... cuz my pc's monitor is still tinted purple. )

I'm glad to hear you got everything sorted out and that you like the gift! The colors are most likely off (I do colors by eye) but I did try to get them somewhat similar. Happy to hear from you again too ^^

AAAA I just saw this again today and it finally hit me that this exists! (I get really excited when people make stuff related to my stuff! It makes me so happy! And I'll probably be looking at this image for a while today )

And you use GMod right? What was the method you used to re-create my Inksona? I'm curious! And what ref did you use?

(I can also give you the exact colors if you want cuz I wrote them down when I made her! Oh! and the custom hair texture too!)

To recreate her I just got the models from the splatoon 2 hair pack and extended the bangs slightly. I had the black splatoon 2 hair material from a while ago so I used that as it looked similar to your textured hair.

The image I used as a reference was this one
 

That was about it. 

As for the other materials and the exact color of her, I'd love to have them so I can accurately recreate her for another time (because I SO want to make her again!)
