Hnngggggg I really loves these uniforms and it gives me a chance to use a character I was going to used for another group. I think this fits her quiet nicely QvQ

Personality
If laughter and smiles could be a disease, Hikari is infectious. She is all about being upbeat and having a good time no matter what she is doing. But even as she is upbeat, she has a pretty laid back personality; until you try and compete with her. She is VERY competitive and will push herself to the breaking point just to win. This also comes in handy if she has to get down and dirty. Even though she is generally happy, if you do cross her you best run. She has no issues with resorting to her fists; this is especially true if someone tries to mess with her twin brother. Unless of course it is herself.

As her brother is well aware, Hikari likes to playfully tease people she likes and this really could be anyone. She excepts people pretty easily but has a hard time forgiving if she is back-stabbed outright. She doesn't let gossip ruin her day no matter how malicious it can be. And boy did it used to be back in her earlier days of highschool (this will be explained in a moment). She is also very much a Gal, loving accessories and trendy clothing, always having her nails done in various kinds of designs. If she is not in the pool, you can bet she is probably at some mall or shop trying on things she can't afford.

While Hikari is a pretty decent student she will often stare out the window in a half daze, wanting to go to the pool and work off her energy with some freestyle laps. She does have a tendency to sleep in class but that is mostly from early morning practice. Honestly if she cared a little more about school instead of swimming she would probably be an A student. Her brother often gives her flack about it and she often replies with a good right hook to the arm; he is a hypocrite.

She hates people sticking their noses into her business. And really ones who push her. The razor blade necklace is there for a reason.

Hikari doesn't trust men anymore. With three hard rejections under her belt, to the point it put her into a severe depression, she refuses to believe pretty words or be tempted with flirting anymore. She was devastated by love, vulnerable to peer pressure, and not good enough because of her mistake. These rejections took a serious blow to her self esteem but she is trying everything within her power to get it back. Even going deep into her Gal roots to remember who she was.

Habits
- Coming to school every day with different sets of bracelets on. There is no telling how many she has.
- Having to have her nails changed bi weekly.
- Biting the end of her pencil. She doesn't do that with pens anymore (one broke in her mouth).
- Never seen without H2O.
- Always has a pair of goggles and bathing suit on hand.
- Constantly tries to tuck her bangs behind her ear.... and fails.

Biography
Hikari is the youngest of the twins, her older brother having been born 15 minutes earlier; and he never lets her forget. Ever since she was old enough to go into a pool, Hikari has been a fish. If there is a pool anywhere, you can bet she will be in it and this applies for the ocean as well. She lead a pretty average life with her brother, mother and father in Osaka (has a heavy Kansai dialect). But at the end of middle school her world took a sharp turn. Her mother had become violently ill and passed away within the year and this changed Hikari for the worst. She began to stop going to class and running with the wrong crowd while her father looked on helplessly. It seemed every day she would come home with some type of bruise or cut on her. At one point she had even stopped swimming; which was sad because it was her life. She had once been team captain during middle school for her swim team but she found little enjoyment in the sport after the loss of her mother (who had been to all of her meets and cheered her on). It got to the point she had been threatened several times to be expelled from school and the final straw was her breaking into the classrooms to steal chemicals for a friend who wanted to make drugs.

She had escaped being punished on site, only to hide in the pool during the night. She had looked up at the sky full of stars, moving to float on her back before letting her body sink into the water. It felt safe and she wondered for a moment if her mother was hugging her. All she could do was scream under the water till she got all the misery out. And after that she did laps, and laps, till they found her sitting on the edge in the morning.

Both her and her brother were then transferred to Furuya High; he had tagged along because, well, big brother has to look out for her. Which was partly why she had gotten away with a lot of things before.

Hikari hopes to start a swim team, and since she and her brother are both adapt swimmers, they each seek to be team captains of their respective teams.

She also hopes to turn over a new leaf and not let the past cause her any more problems. Well... even a little mischief is ok once in a while.

She has a lot of upper body strength and strong legs, being able to do the butterfly stroke with ease.
