The tilt adds a bit of character. To much symmetry just doesn't work well for interesting images.

This is a very good picture. The tilt add texture and character to the picture and so des the bass or guitar I cant tell wether its guiter or bassist.
I loe the focus of the lense it is very well captured although you might want to increase ether the brightness or contrast just a little.

You yourself, as the subject don't seem to be noticeably tilted, and between that and the shallow DoF I get the feeling that the world is tilting around you, and I'm just watching. I like it. I like the atmosphere.

I'm trying to decide whether the depth of focus makes me think you're leaving or arriving. But all my brain is telling me is that you're just standing there neither coming or going, just being cute with a bass guitar! lol

The slight tilt is great and adds a sense of skewed vision to the already out of focus subject and the ambiguity of coming or going. I dig this image quite a bit. Plus there is nothing better than a great looking girl bass player. But thats besides the point.
Great job and I would love to see more like this

The tilt works. It's enough to look like it isn't a mistake, but not so much as to be super distracting.

Hmmmm.. closet door ajar, front door closed; one shoe on, one shoe off.. slightly out of focus. All kinds of possibilities here.
Indecision.
I like it. Makes one stop and consider. Sometimes it's not the quality of the photo, but the subject. Ya think?

you're a bassist?! that was my first instrument, and i still have a deep love of the bass. unfortunately, due my current financial crisis i am baseless [!], but at least i have my beloved Schecter C1 - Lady Luck.
anyways, i've been playing since i was sixteen (24 years now, ), so if you ever want to talk bass... btw, is that a Schecter Stilleto, perchance?
oh, yeah, the picture! it's great. i love it. the focus is perfect for the mood, and as for the tilt, i think it gives it a bit of " 'tude".
