Yeah I totally support that!!! I feel the same way but yeah dysphoria is needed to be trans!!! I've seen so much tumblr gender bullshit with "uwu we have new gender called moon gender teehee the pronouns are moon/moonself also here's my preferred pronoun list", it's a complete mockery for actual dysphoric trans people. It's an embarrassing stereotype/target for nonbinary people (such as myself) and the general trans pride movement and I wish it could stop.

as many transgender people would say, this isn't transphobic. sometimes people don't like the facts. yes it's great that tumblr is accepting and that transgenders feel more welcome! but people who, whether on purpose or not, say they're transgender because of influences, like tumblr, and they're not it hurts the transgender community

literally i had gender dysphoria ever since i was a child that made my life a living hell. it made me violent and suicidal. i had no idea that being transgender was a thing UNTIL i was on the internet, and had i not know, i would be dead right now. it saved my life. for some it is a phase, but for most its not. there's nothing wrong with exposure and acceptance of these things. sure for some people its a phase, but they're just trying to discover themselves. besides, is it really any of your business?

oh no, tumblr gives people access to terms they didn't know and helps them discover that those terms fit them instead of just letting them feel wrong, how horrible, the world is ending.

I came to identify myself as trans long before Tumblr. However, I want nothing to do with the majority of the trans community on Tumblr. There seems to be this idea within it that if you're in the slightest gender nonconforming, you must be trans or some flavour of enby. I thought we evolved beyond gender stereotypes? I'm an FTM who likes some traditionally "girly" stuff. If I was natally male, they'd push me to transition to female or feminine enby even though I wouldn't feel dysphoria and would be relatively comfortable with my masculinity.
That brings me onto the whole "dysphoria is optional" bullshit, which is also common there. This is not only a fallacy, it is dangerous. You've got kids shooting up hormones and genuinely getting dysphoric as a result. Hormones can also cause serious health issues and any course needs to be closely monitored by a doctor. These people openly endorse getting black market hormones, refusing to even talk about the risks involved because apparently it's transphobic to refuse someone hormones even if they could kill them (Yes, I have genuinely seen this crap floating around. So what if you can't take hormones? You can still transition)!
Oh yeah, and the million genders. I believe in three genders- male, female and neutral, ie. nonbinary. Nonbinary has a ton of labels because we still haven't decided on a universal term. You'll see enby, genderqueer, masc of centre, fem of centre, enby butch, enby femme, agender, genderpunk, gender rebel... the list goes on and on. These labels should not be confused with individual genders. Some people who are otherwise cis may label themselves as a genderqueer boy/girl because they're gender nonconforming either by choice or preference. It doesn't mean their gender is genderqueer because they acknowledge their being male or female. This doesn't work so well for other labels though. You can't really be an "agender boy" or a "nonbinary girl", even if you are gender nonconforming. There are times I don't relate to gender, but I acknowledge that I can't be both nonbinary and male at the same time.
tl;dr trans Tumblr is largely made up of enablers who believe that being trans is a choice (you know who also claims that? The religious right!) that doctors are transphobic for rejecting patients who aren't good candidates for hormones and that every single gender label is a gender in itself.
