But even trains don't run forver.
They may run for years.
With their engines burning strong and bright
Wheels turning without a squeak,
Braving tumultuous weather
But never ceasing.

As time goes on,
The fire begins to burn out
The wheels creak
Eventually it stops operating.

It's destination becomes not that of the nearest station,
But of the nearest scrap yard
Along with all the other trains
That people thought would last forever.

I've been told that there exists
A train that runs forever,
That's so hard to find.
Billions have found it.
Billions have not.
Maybe it's the train I'm aboard now,
However, pessimistic I'll remain
As I'll never know
