Description ::edit:: Well, it would help if I typed up the steps first. Px

Steps 1-2 3-5 6 7

Step 8

[A] With legs, I usually extend the manniquin out a little more by adding circles/ovals to get the shape of the lower leg a little more accurate (Particularly important if you're drawing humans).

[B] Starting at the top of the knee, draw in the edges of the kneeguard. Seishin's (once again, oddball gundam) is pointed at the top, S-curves around to be pointed at the bottom on the side of his leg; near his ankles in length.
~~ Here I find out his foot is too far back, so I erase it and move it forward.

[C] More spikes for Seishin~ Draw thems in. XD

[D] Adding in hte calves to finish up his lower leg.

[E] Now for the ankle guards. For Seishin, we can draw a slanted oval for the black part of his foot guard and the curves on the ankles, as well as a line straight back to estimate how long the second curve on his ankle goes back. (Aaaand find out his feet are too small for his ankles/legs. Px Go figure. Erase and redraw bigger feets for him.)

[F] Seishin's ankleguards are mostly cuves and circles, so relatively easy to finish up. he's got two curves up on one side, cuves to connect them, and one cuve inward towards his foot on the front.

[G] Here I've drawn in the lower rim of his feet. Mostly diagonals and 'horizontal' lines, so once again easy to finish up. Keep the ridge of his "shoes" relatively parallel to the sketched feet in the manniquin.

[H] Top part of the foot. Usually at a steeper angle than the ridge of the "shoes". Also erased some extra lines to see better.

[I] Upper legs~ Really just a box with chamfers (or cut corners) on them.

[J] Overall view with some more erased extra lines. Px

Step 9
At this point, we have a decision to make: Do we have enough room to put Miichelle in there? Px

Yes:
+ It'll give Seishin a protective look
+ It'd focus on more than one character, and make anyone looking at the picture wonder what happened.
+ It gets Seishin out of his almost constant confrontational look.
+ More balance between sharp/contrasty gundam and smooth/gradual organic (human).

No:
- Better look at his armor
- Both weapons can be put into his hands in a different position, letting us see his chest better.

I'm putting Miichelle in. I really want him out of that "Grr~" pose that I usually draw concept sketches of gundams in, plus I like the idea of having people wonder "Hey, what happened to make him want to protect her?".
