Description
When I came up with my Ranger-Sona, Nick Oliver, I also felt that I needed to give him something to make him unique, as a Ranger. And so, I came up with the idea of creating a dark clone of him. Enter The Nega Ranger.

The Nega Ranger is, just like his name suggests, a negative clone of Nick. He was formed from Nick's own dark thoughts, when he was freed from the evil brain control. What was left of Nick's dark thoughts shaped itself into this dark clone, which only calls itself The Nega Ranger.

As a person, The Nega Ranger is mostly the opposite of everything Nick is. He mostly looks after no one, other than himself. He is in favour of using violence, and he is only interested in anything that can be of benefit to him. He also develops a deep rivalry with Nick, kind of like a brotherly inferiority complex, feeling the need to prove that he is just as strong, if not stronger, than Nick. Nick, on the other hand, would like to consider The Nega Ranger a brother, but he will fight him, if he has to.

After a while, their rivalry grows, and turns into more of a form of respect for each other. And, on occasion, the Nega Ranger does actually help the Power Rangers, but mostly if he feels that he would loose something, himself, if they would loose. So, he is not really a villain. He is more of the embodiment of the concept of an anti-hero. And even though he tries to deny it, he does have a form of conscience. Just, don't push him on that subject, He will lash out at you for it.

His Ranger suit does represent the whole negative clone concept of his character, in that he does have the same colors as Nick's suit, only reversed. Instead of having a green suit, with a black visor on the helmet, Then Nega Ranger has a black suit, with a green visor on his helmet.
