Personality: Gypsum is a very quiet gem, but nobody knows her too well. She used to be able to speak, and those who knew her then claim she told beautiful stories. They say she had a way with figurative language, and that listening to her describe something allowed you to see it in a surreal way, as if it became this fascinating fantasy. They said it felt like whatever she described came alive and seemed to waltz across their minds long after. She could make the littlest story sound like the grandest legend. She was devastated when she became mute, but as Lord of the Bard's it was her duty to keep hope alive. So she told stories through dance, music, art, or any form she could. Many wonder why she doesn't write anything down, any stories, any attempted communication, but for obvious reason no one knows.
These days, she's an... odd gem. She won't say anything or move her lips (since her lips are fake), and she can't exactly sign because her body's always split apart (it's very confusing when she does), so she'll just direct her face in your direction and adjust her body language to acknowledge you. Many find this off putting and tend to stray from her, but her fellow bards seem to tolerate her weirdness. She's often found in a garden or graveyard during the day, and a bar or club at night, always playing music or dancing, or both. Bard's who ask for assistance in any of the arts are sure to get it, and she's always happy to listen to what others say.
Abilities: A gifted musician, and a talented dancer. Gems say she used to tell fascinating stories, however she is mute, so she tells her stories through dance and music. Her breaking apart frequently allows her to be somewhat useful in battle, because if you try and say, cut off her arm... it won't do squat.
Appearance: Body suit that cuts off into shorts, other then that she has none because her body breaks too often. Her bodysuit can withstand this, but she found it useless to have any other clothes if they'll just break away. She has roses that flourish all over her body and break her up.
Other: She can never be whole. Her body often flourishes and fragments into floating petals that swirl around. Her limbs still work as if their whole, but they're disconnected. They reconnect, however she can never be 'intact' Her body may mend in one area, but then another limb or part will flourish out. This can happen anywhere on her. Her face remains the same, though.

For ! Once I got this gem irl I knew I had make a rose, and I really like the concept that came out!
