so my friend recently noted me with a finny comment telling m that my characters are difficult to draw. so i decided to make this in an attempt to demonstrate how i make a characters structure.

its all about building up shapes and then melding them together. this particular model is for the "eldritchsona" i recently put up, more specifically for the nude one i most recently posted.

this step contains only basic shapes that detail major segments and what will become important joint areas.

i feel its important to note that not every artist does this, but it does really help when' you're trying to feel out extreme poses and action scenes, as it provides a foundation for where to put the details of a character.

i may update this later as well, to reflect a step that can be taken even earlier than this one, but that is only really for pose/character generation, not so much for when you already know the characters design or are experienced with poses.
