waaaaaaa I worked on this long that i had excpected @_@ all in all I think this took me about 4-5 hours.Sorry for the funky anatomy, I didn't use a ref. =A=;;;
This is an entry for the ongoing contest that has going. The theme was quite odd XD "Chasing Pavements, "Waterlily Dawn"
But I did what I could do :3
And I can't paint water to save my life ><;; The road is supposed to be water XD
I had no clue what to put in the empty space on the right, so I just put text XD

Nice job! I love the idea, the colors, and the overall look of it. I especially like the roundness of the composition and the rays of sunlight. The outfit is really good as well. The way she cups the water in her hand also fascinates me. Though, I really don't see the pavement here you did use the theme "chasing"- in a sense that everything is blurred to where it looks as if she's moving quickly. I only wish you'd submitted early so I could give you more points, but really good job anyway!
