I’ve finished my last painting of 2020! You all might remember that this was the painting I tried to do plans for live on Youtube but that didn’t work out super well, I had technical difficulties with actually streaming and the end result of my plan was pretty crusty. But that’s what practice is for!

I picked a tiger for a few reasons. (partly me just really loving tigers cause they’re awesome) In addition to being fierce and powerful, tigers are silent and stealthy hunters who you don’t know are stalking you until it is far too late! Being silent is their strength, so it would be foolish to describe a tiger as meek and shy. I have a really strong dislike of being labeled as shy, especially after being described as shy by someone who I already wanted to hit with a crowbar. She herself was the kind of person who would probably explode if she wasn’t talking every five seconds, so if she thinks being quiet is a personality issue, that’s her own problem. The silent hunter is the one who catches the prey.
