thanks a lot man, this guy actually isn't popping as well as he is on the sketch I worked from. The angles and proportions aren't exaggerated quite enough in some bits. Pretty hard translating a little bit of paper accurately to a wall hrm

I sit staring at canvases I make cursing out the under/overspray no matter how tiny... 1st thing my friend said when she opened her canvas 'oooh I love the underspray on the face, adds so much personality to it'

The "Rubik/3LA" is conspicuous, but not to where the eyes are drawn to it at first view. So it's all okay. Such clean lines and a wonderful background. I'm loving that gold halo, too. This is awesome. 8} Oh, and nice headphones. Is this the first time you've ever had headphones on one of your characters? Buh, it's just cool. You should try some huge ass headphones next time. That'd be awesome.

Yeah I DRAW the headpohones a lot, but I think this is like the second time I've painted em, and yeah next time I think I'll make em bigger. Heh, I was gonna put a bigass cable going from the headphones but I dunno, unless I did it perfectly it'd throw the whole thing out of balance I reckon. But yeah cheers hey, have a good one

Yeah, I'd have to agree. The cable would be a little too much. But who knows? Try it once and see how it comes out just to, you know... see. You could always work with it to incorporate with the character instead of it standing out so much. Like, for instance, having some of the chord wrap around his finger. I don't know. I'm shutting up. You do what you think you should do. Yepyep.

Your characters always seem to look somewhat like stencils, since you get the edges so crisp.

Yeah cheers, had to be pretty careful doing the cutbacks to get that thin line goling up the coin. And the gold paint was being a bit difficult (it just slays nibs for some reason). And the gold kinda looks a bit brown. MY lil sis teased me and said the halo looks like a donut ahahah

Tips on doing putups? Um I think my shitty tall blocky handy help a lot with that, man. That handy is like just a default thing, it dopesn't really have any style, but it never really looks too out of place coz it's all pretty neat and shit. You're welcome to use it if ya like

The shading is a b it hard because you have to have a realcareful touch and know exactly how lightly to press down on the nib and how far away from the wall to have it etc etc but had pretty good luck with this one. The bubbles are just mad fun I love doing em for some reason

It's two shades of purple, they're meant to be close enough to kinda compliment each other but they're a bit too distant from each other to really both be "visibly purkle"
