This is an old piece that I'd started back in 2014 and never got around to finishing... UNTIL NOW!
I changed up my digital art setup and am in the process of learning this new system... Which means I have to learn to digitally paint... which I purposely avoided before. But rossdraws has a really nice tutorial over on youtube that I found really helpful as far as getting me started. This is my first digital painting, and even though it wasn't what I was expecting, I feel like I learned a lot from it.
SOme background information on this piece:
The starters are both from my childhood (Gen II and Gen III), and the dog pokémon represent dogs I had growing up. The Gengar is just because I like the little troll.
I plan on showing a time-lapse over on my art stream , where I'll discuss my learning process and what not, along with some other pieces. Regular streaming time TBD.
