Overall I thought these two were the best match for Ruby & Sapphire as well as the best fusion components for this version of Garnet (I thought their physical traits combined well).Crystal Pines:

Blubs probably has both eyes (but I haven't completely decided on that) and can see the future but more in the form of a horoscope. And Durland is a bit less dim-witted but the homeworld versions of him are not.
