Chrysanthemum, or simply Chrys, is Yarrow's momma, and she'll act as a personal NPC.

Back in hay day she was bold, regal, impressive. She ran a small cottage in the Skyset Woods and would help fight for those who need help and nurse them back to health if need be. However, since the birth of her daughter from basically a one-night stand, her physical health started going downhill. The stress from both managing her job and raising a child caused her body to age much quicker than she ever anticipated. As her physical state began to deteriorate more and more, she would still pass on her knowledge to her daughter, teaching her things such as basic survival skills, how to fight, what to do when a situation gets dicey, how to cook, etc. Eventually, Chrys' body grew so weary that she could barely stand without assistance, and the small family was directed to Aster Town to find an easier life.

This Furret speaks in a shaky, gentle tone of voice. She is kind and wise and very willing to tell stories she heard from travelers who visited her old cottage. While she is now dependent on her daughter for care and finances, she doesn't regret how her life has made her quickly blossom into who and what she is today. She is clever and resourceful, and her old cooking recipes specialized in adding healing berries to help rejuvenate weary travelers back to health. She also believes heavily in flower representation and can often use poetic flower metaphors in her speech patterns.

And this is the Pokemon of who Yarrow has to fulfill the legacy of. This is going to be a long and bumpy road....

The family lineage for this set of ferrets is highly malleable based on what the father Pokemon was. Since Chrys was sired from an Arcanine father, she possesses some striking canine characteristics as well as some very long, unruly fur. And while she was once very regal in appearance, her overgrown fur coat is now all coarse and greying. Yarrow inherited the yellow/gold eyes some of the fluff, but she has a different body structure entirely. Anatomy reference page coming soon.
