This is long awaited request pic for , depicting Mad Dog from Talespin and my OC, Ora "The Rebel" Kitsune, doing emergency activities in the blue, sunny and cloudy sky - Mad Dog's falling with his parachute, and The Rebel 's using her own Personal Jet - Powered Vechicle Hayabusa (its sketch can be seen here: Personal Jet - Powered vehicle Hayabusa (sketch) ) and flying almost above him. PieGeo, having seen one of my previous sketches associated with Talespin: Nooo! Whyyy did you do thiiis, Cap'n?! (sketch) , requested me doing this.

Honestly, it would have been posted earlier, if Paint.NET programme wouldn't kill itself at the key moment of creating this pic. Damn, I was fucking angry, when I had to start all over again! >

I'm glad how the shading came out in both of those character. Why? Because I was deeply observing shadings of Ignigenio's pics of Dr. Viper and I got the inspiration to try her own method - using darker shade and looking at my own body, when it's been lightened by the office lamp. Thank you, :iconignigenio:!

I also remeber that my friend, , suggested that I should have painted whole Hayabusa in gold colour, but I had doubts about it. But one day I decided to take a chalenge and paint the bottom part of this machine gold and the upper one in the dark bordeaux, making it characteristic and avoiding being accused by Marvel of ripping Falcon's jetpack design and colours. Deal with it, Marvel!

When I was drawing and finishing this pic, I was listening to this song - Edge and Pearl from the rock band Machinae Supremacy: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtRKVH… . All the time. And it helped me imagining the whole scene ya can see here. Especially the incredible speed of flight in Hayabusa. This is and will be for Rebel (or Ora, as ya wish) what is the airfoil for Kit Cloudkicker - the essence of freedom and thrill.

And don't be mad at me, if comes about adding sun blinking - I like the animeish stylistic means.

And, in default, hope will like it.
