As anyone who knows me will attest, I have a bit of an obsession with birds. Feathers. Faces. Personalities. I take photos of birds as often as I possibly can.

My husband, on the other hand, doesn't really care for creatures of the avian variety. Flying rats, he calls them. It is always much to his chagrin when he goes to upload the photographs from our camera, only to find hundreds of images of birds of all types.

Snakes, too, which appalls him even more, but I digress...

Most of the photos I take end up being used for sketches, drawings, paintings. Some will probably never be used at all, which is why I decided to upload two images for the themed week of Feathers at .
