Thanks! Just by coincidence I went to the Indianapolis museum of art yesterday and got to see this. [link] I feel quite lucky to have access to this museum.

Most of what I know about art history comes from research I've done on the Internet. I really don't know that much, but it's just amazing to be able to look up any artist the moment you hear their name for the first time. On the flip side of that is the fact that it's very easy to spend more time on the Internet than making art. DA seems like it's designed to suck up as much time as possible.

I've been away from it for a little over two weeks. I think I need to cut my watch list down a bit. There are over 1,300 deviations waiting for me to look at them. I don't mind the messages and things, but I bet it will take several days to get caught up completely. I'm thinking of just starting over with a new account at this point.

I know what that's like. A change is sometimes better than a holiday.
I've taken an attitude of un-checking the boxes under 'manage friends' for people who don't communicate or reciprocate and deleting the dead wood after a while.
