Description POW-R (Processing Older Wall-drives Reconditioned Class), is an antiquated portable super-computer in a sense, which is meant to be used in a Typhoon Class Aeronaut Search and Destroy Vessel. It was originally in pristine condition, however, once his model became obsolete he was repurposed as a backup driver for a Voyager Class Dreg vessel, to be used to decode the black boxes of wrecks encountered by the automated pilots on board, (There where humans before, however time caught up to them, and now the ship largely is run by the autopilot and several other command units.)

He is compatible with the obsolete 'NNY-X' drives, which are placed within him via opening his carapace horizontally, like a hamburger box, and placing it into the single slod available. (There are two, however he has taken one as his own memory Drive.) While they have 'feet', they are largely confined to the Control Room or Bridge, and are slow and cumbersome when in motion, and are very heavy to move. Nearly 200 pounds.

A single print-out slot is largely for communicating any errors with the box or itself, however they can program their own drivers to make sounds. In this particular POW-R Unit, it can perfectly mimic Heart and Soul, or at least the beat. These machines go hand in hand with the SIRU-V Models, in fact, they where made in pairs.

Loving the old-timey print-out system. Have read any Discworld? (I'm thinking Hex here...)

Oh, a very good series. It takes fantasy cliches, and mashes them up with Terry Pratchett's huge knowledge of physics. Very nerdy, very funny.

Some of the books have a character called Hex, a primitive computer built by wizards. I thought of that, because it's sort of a parody of old style supercomputers: it gives print out cards, and takes up half the room. But it's also powered by ants...

Lol, ants? That is pretty awesome. XD

I did base this off an old computer so...XD

Ah, based off the same idea. Old computers are the most awesome kind, the big, room-filling, clunking, print-out giving kind. They looked so much more sci-fi...
