Alrighty, this here handsome fella is Twisted Fire Starter - i'm trying to 'buy' him from here [link]

I'm really proud of this pic, so I hope my work pays off and I get him... *worried* I've adored him since he was a colt

Reason you want the horse?: Because I simply adore his design and personality, and i'm sure he'll fit in perfectly at SPaVES <3
Do you plan on showing the horse?: Erm.. I think it might be a bit hard to do so, what with his wings and general temperament. But if I ever find one that suits him, then quite possibly, yes ^^
Short Story of adoption: When Linus found out that Flamin' Spades was auctioning off some of their horses, he immediately hooked up the trailer and went off to have a look at the stock on offer. Though all the horses were amazing in their own way, the one that caught his eye almost immediately was the fiery stallion tethered far from the other horses, flapping his great wings irritably.

Having already seen him once as a colt, it was quite easy to recognise the stallion and all interest in the other horses on offer was lost. After having a quick word with October, he went to have a closer look at Fire Starter. Though at first the stallion pinned his ears and snorted irritatedly, the minuted Linus laid a hand on the rope holding him there, the dark stallion pricked his ears and fell still, wings twitching excitedly by his sides at the prospect of being let loose.

He was brought back to SPaVES that very day and put in a loose paddock to see how he would react. At first, he sniffed about, somewhat curious but mostly losing interest after finding it was a normal paddock. As a small crowd of stable hands and regulars gathered, he looked up into the darkened sky and seemed to grin mischievously. Then, in a mere blink of an eye, he was gone, having propelled himself upwards into the oncoming storm with a laugh-like whinny.

He flew so far up we almost couldn't see him and for a moment we feared he wouldn't be coming back. But then we saw him begin to plummet down, wings left to stream uselessly at his sides as he came down at amazing speeds. He once again seemed to let out his laughing sound and it was easy to see the delight in his fiery eyes the closer he got. Finally, when everyone had just about started to panic, he snapped his wings open and came to an immediate halt two feet above the ground. From there, he simply hopped down to the ground and stood there for a moment, panting softly.

He seemed to glance over at his enraptured audience, as if trying to gauge the reaction of the crowd. There was silence for a moment then the small group gathered began to whistle and whoop in excitement, amazed at the winged stallion's daring show. As various treats were held out, Starter came over and tentatively accepted the various tidbits, even allowing a few short pats.

There's no doubt this boy is an adrenaline junkie, but we have a good feeling he'll fit right in here.
