My cosplay of Feferi on saturday at anime detour.Also there was an awesome Meenah there.

I took PVC pipe, and drilled holes straight through it on both ends (make sure the holes are straight and not crooked!) Then, I took two long screws and hot glued one through each end. (for the base of the trident prongs) Then I took model magic and shaped all six prongs, (make sure the prongs for each end resemble each other and look good when placed on the trident) and let them dry for a few days. (YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR SHAPED SIDE PRONGS AND STICK THEM ON THE SCREWS WHILE THE MODEL MAGIC IS STILL WET, while they were drying, I held them up with paint bottles because otherwise they would have dried crooked due to the fact that they weren't parallel with the surface i was working on) (I had a few cracks in the model magic after they dried, but I patched that up with white fabric paint.(because it was handy, you're actually supposed to use spackling) Then I hot glued each prong to its proper place on the trident, even the side ones on the screws. Then I took some paper mache (I'm assuming you understand the concept of paper mache) and put strips diagonally across the joints of the prongs (a few layers of that) and let that dry. Then I took model magic and rolled out a few strings of it and put that around the base of each side prong and the base of the pvc pipe, let it dry, then hot glued it. (i think you could have hot glued it, then let it dry though) Then I spray painted the whole thing gold. (my way was certainly not the best because i made the tips of the prongs too skinny and they broke off. They are actually broken off in the picture, I think)
