The living dead Scorpion Queen returns.The first Scorpio I did, I loved so much.
This is a redo, because well. Last time I had one of those little nervous breakdowns, which I so love, I tore up the original copy.
Here is a re-make. Doesn't have the magic as the first. But now it means more. I still hope you enjoy it though.
I really like this piece. I think I like her skin the most, I wanted it to look cold and rotting like there is moss growing on it.
^^ I really like how impowering she is. As a woman, a Scorpio for that much. Beautiful, but beware.

lookit dat sexy ass. they say that an artist uses each work as a form of self portrait whether it be metephorical or actual referances to the artist. anyhow, on to the critique. its got some great form and some seriously good use of color here. i love the form in her face, the arched back is exquisite. my only qualm is that the angle of her torso doesnt seem to match up with her wonderfully rendered breasts. other than that, it could use some highlights to emphasize form, but not too much.

i think its kind of cool that you periodically tear up your own work... most people are so afraid to ruin it... have you thought about taking the pieces (if there are any left) and making something out of them... like some sort of collage... or just remaking the old picture by stitching the pieces back together in much the same style your characters are sewn back together... i dont know just a thought...

Wow.. you really do have an amazing and unique style.. I love it. It's always strange redoing an artwork.. you always have an inescapable sense the there's something magic about the original that you can never get back, but I think it's better not to let it stop you appreciating what's improved in the "replacement".
