Remember the night of November 24, 1248.
The north face came tumbling down on an estimated 5000 victims below.
On the top left of the photo you can see a smaller rock slide dating from January 2016.

They explained that at the top of the pass with 3 sculptures showing the mountain today, before 1248 and as a flat plain in the future... Last month I was in the forest and I heard a small rock slide in the distance. I was a little nervous.
