That's the problem with many forests, they try to keep them clean.
I visited a farm in Germany and the farmer had an order from the mayor to remove a fallen tree in his wooded area.

Well you can (if you like!) keep forests "clean"!! But the German mayor does seem to be exaggerating a little !!!
