* Comet Twilia Butterfly was born during the harvest festival of 822 a.M. to Queen Estrella Butterfly the Drafted and King Azul Saint. She was born with light purple hair and purple eyes, both inherited from her paternal grandmother. As cheekmarks, she had purple butterflies.

* As daughter of the well-beloved Queen Estrella, the Kingdom's citizens immediately had high hopes for baby Comet, causing her to become popular among the Mewmans from a very young age.

* When Comet was 2 years old, she gained a younger sister: Etheria, born with green-ish blue hair and green eyes. While she was eager to be a big sibling at first, it quickly became apparent that Comet and Etheria didn't really get along that well due to their different personalities, and they would continue to clash for many years to come.

* Comet was a cheerful and eager girl, she was very adventurous and free-spirited, always wanting to go out to play. It wasn't uncommon for Comet to disappear for several hours until mysteriously turning up again later. This would always worry Estrella, but she assured herself it was just Comet being a kid, and that she'd grow out of it with time.

* The older Comet got, though, the less she was looking forward to being Queen someday. While Estrella tried to assure her that it really wasn't so bad, Comet simply wasn't a fan of all the official Royal business she would have to constantly attend to. The idea of having no free time or privacy was something she greatly disliked, she wanted nothing more than just live a normal life like any other gir her age.

* Because of this, Comet was actually quite envious of the peasant children living in the Kingdom, who were just able to live their day to day lives in peace and harmony, attending school, playing outside with friends, and so on. In the meantime, Comet had to prepare for her future already, her fate was set in stone from the moment she was born, and she didn't like that one bit.

* With Comet's attitude becoming more and more rebellious as she aged, Etheria was becoming quite the opposite. It wasn't a secret that the younger princess didn't like being in her big sister's shadow, and that she'd gladly take the throne if Comet were to offer it to her, but Comet wouldn't do such a thing, because as much as she hated the fact she'd have to be Queen, she would hate her sister being Queen even more. This caused the two to quarrel very often, always getting in arguments over the future.

* Comet's 14th birthday took place in 836 a.M., and it should've been the day of her wand ceremony, if not for the sudden disappearance of the heiress. Comet had gone to bed as usual the night before, but when Estrella went to wake her up for breakfast the next day, she found the princess' room was empty. A search party was sent out for her immediately, but there was no trace of Comet to be found, leading many to believe she'd gotten abducted.

* However, the truth would reveal itself only a few days later, in the form of a letter addressed to Estrella. This letter was from Comet herself, explaining that she'd ran away from home to avoid her wand ceremony, and that she was living the life of her dreams. Alongside the letter was a picture she'd taken in the Bounce Lounge. Ofcourse, Estrella immediately sent a bunch of Knights to the dimension in order to retreive Comet, but she had already left for a different dimension by then.

* While Comet didn't document her adventures in all of these different dimensions, it's very likely that she was just partying hard every day and night, doing all the things she knew she wouldn't be able to do once she accepted her fate as Queen.

* One of the things that Comet became passionate about during this adventure was cooking and baking. She'd been trying out all kinds of delicacies from many different dimensions, and it definitely awakened a love for the kitchen in her. She knew that once she did go back, she would be ruling from the kitchen for sure.

* It's likely that Comet's mewberty also took place while she was away, but the results of this are unknown. She might aswell have blown up an entire dimension during it and nobody would ever know. No reports were made of big damages to any dimensions though, so it probably went by smoothly.

* Comet's love for food brought her not only a passion for cooking, but also a spur-of-the-moment relationship. During her impulsive travels, Comet met a famous chef named Lazlo Marmalade, whom she entered a courtship with, and eventually married in 840 a.M. when she was 18 years old, only because she found out she was pregnant.

* In 841 a.M., shortly before returning home, Comet would give birth to her baby Moon, a girl with light blue hair and blue eyes, with hot pink diamonds on her cheeks. After Moon was born, Comet made sure to quickly divorce Lazlo (he was a prick anyways) and decided to return back to Mewni for the sake of her daughter.

* And so, after 5 whole years, Comet returned home to a less-than-thrilled Queen Estrella. Her wand ceremony would take place only a few weeks later, making her the first to receive the wand at such a late age. Additionally, she was also the first to have a baby before a wand ceremony, and lets hope it stays that way.

* It wasn't surprising that Comet lost the favor of many citizens due to this whole ordeal. Many of the Mewmen viewed her as irresponsible and impulsive, preferring Etheria over her. While she was gone, there were a lot of people who demanded the throne to be handed to Etheria instead, and that Comet would never be a good Queen, but Estrella refused as she believed that this was exactly the outcome Comet wanted.

* Estrella knew that Comet wasn't ready to be Queen yet, so for the next three years, the heiress was forced to study her absolute hardest. This was a tough time for the heiress, she'd never been a studious person so it was often difficult for her to focus, especially when studying for subjects she didn't care much for.

* It was during these studies that Comet developed her number one goal for when she was Queen: making peace between the Mewmen and monsters. Truly, Comet didn't really want to deal with all the issues between the two Kingdoms, especially since she believed that Mewmen and monsters had more in common than most would like to admit.

* Comet also accompanied her mother to a meeting with the MHC for the first time, and she found it to be incredibly boring, even falling asleep at one point. To Comet's annoyance, she found that the argument that had been going on before she fell asleep, was STILL going on after she woke up, even though a significant amount of time had passed. This meeting took place on the eve of a battle, and most of the people present didn't see eye to eye about how the battle was supposed to go.

* Comet quickly grew tired of this, so without saying a word, she stood up from the table and left the room. Remembering how some good food would always calm her down and make her think more clearly, Comet went on to bake 7 Red Solanaceae pies, enough to keep all the generals and members of the MHC fed. She even set aside a plate for the one member of the Magical High Commission who didn't show up (who was quite charmed to learn this, truly).

* Concerning the battle that the meeting was meant for, it was never fought. Mewni never showed up for the battle, leaving the monsters simply waiting at the battlefront for half a day before they returned to their day-to-day lives. To the public, Estrella acted like she was disappointed by Comet's actions, but secretly, when nobody else was looking except Comet herself, she praised her artful thinking. After all, arguing on an empty stomach is never a good idea.

* From then on, Comet was definitely known for her incredible pie making, most likely inherited from the half Pie-Folk Queen Festivia. Estrella would always tell Comet that her gift for baking was in her blood, which, in itself, is an interesting comment, since it quite literally was.

* Interestingly, Comet actually has barely any spells written down in the Book of Spells at all. Instead, she wrote down some of her more popular pie recipes. Unfortunately, the ones she did write down are by far not all of her culinary creations. Comet was also great at baking non-pie treats, such as cakes, pastries, cookies, and so on.

* Comet was finally crowned Queen in 844 a.M., and she was already planning her first move. The coronation itself was only a small ceremony, as Estrella didn't like all the attention it'd bring if she made it a huge public event.

* Comet's first act as Queen was quite a remarkable one: she was planning to host a grand banquet for the monster king, Archduke Batwin. With this, Comet hoped to finally make peace with monsterkind once and for all. It wasn't easy for her to arrange this banquet, it took many strained negotiations, and the disdain of all the army generals and Magical High Commission, but Comet refused to listen to what they had to say on the matter.

* Additionally, Comet also commissioned a songstrel guild to write a song about the potential for a more peaceful union, and the winning piece would be performed by princess Moon on the night of the banquet. Ofcourse Moon was still far too young at this point in time to do such a thing, but Comet knew that this banquet would take years to properly prepare, as she wanted it to be perfect in every possible way.

* The famous Mewnipendence Day Pie, which was served every year on the anniversary of Mewnipendence to celebrate the Butterflies' reign over Monsterkind, would also be served at this banquet, and Comet planned to rename it to Peace Day Pie.

* While Comet was hopeful for the event to be a success, the MHC in particular expressed worries when it came to the rebel Septarian factions, especially their leading man Seth. Comet would claim she didn't fear him however, going as far as calling him crusty and old. In fact, she even sent him an invitation.

* Comet would write her final entry in the Book of Spells near the end of 844 a.M., claiming that she quite liked Batwin, but worried he was too soft for his position. She also voiced some concerns about Seth's old position becoming of interest to some of the younger Septarians in the faction, but ultimately she believed all would be well. Comet vowed she wouldn't write another entry in the Book until the banquet was over.

* The banquet's menu was created in 847 a.M., which was curiously also the year that Comet announced she was once again expecting. She had invited her ex-husband Lazlo to the castle in order to have him help her out with thinking of a proper menu, so most people believed Comet when she said that he was the father of this new baby. There were still people who had their doubts though, some even going as far as claiming she was having a half-monster baby due to her being so obsessed with this banquet.

* Comet's second daughter was born in 848 a.M., a girl with pale purple hair, purple eyes, and light yellow arrows on her cheeks. She was named Felicity. Comet gladly welcomed this new addition, she'd always been a very motherly person, so she really couldn't be happier with a second child.

* Speaking of children, Comet was very close with both her daughters. Both Moon and Felicity were very attached to her mom, and especially Moon held her in very high regards. Comet was like a role-model to the young heiress, which made Moon actually quite eager and proud of her future as Queen.

* Comet passed both the Book of Spells and wand to Moon in 855 a.M., in a tent on the battlefield, one of the few non-public wand ceremonies. Comet truly believed her daughter to have great potential, and even though she could tell Moon was nervous, she assured her that she believed the Book and Wand were in the right hands with her. Ofcourse, with the promise that she'd get the Book back one more time to write about the aftermath of the upcoming banquet.

* Unfortunately, the year of 856 a.M. was the year of Estrella's passing, a difficult time for Comet. Due to this, the preparations the banquet, which was meant to take place the next year, were put on hold for a while to allow Comet time to grieve. She was able to pick up her duties again rather swiftly though.

* At long last, the banquet took place in 857 a.M., and it was as much of a success than Comet had hoped. She and Batwin got along very well, and for once it seemed like there was actually hope for peace between Mewni and Monsterkind in the near future. The night ended with the promise of the signing of a peace treaty in the near future.

* This event took place not long after the banquet, in early 858 a.M., but it was not the event everyone had hoped for. It was in the middle of the signing that the unthinkable happened: one of Batwin's generals, a young septarian named Toffee, went rogue and assassinated Comet, abruptly ending both her life and her reign. This act pushed Mewni into a whole new Mewman-Monster war, and would also leave the throne to the 17 year old Moon, who was far from ready to be Queen.

* Comet was buried in the Royal Butterfly Graveyard, next to her mother. Comet's death is widely regarded as one of the most shocking deaths of her generation.
