Calypso Butterfly is the 2nd Queen of Mewni and the daughter of Senara Butterfly. Unlike her mother, Calypso was a tomboyish and optimistic person, and she made tons of progress in building up the Butterfly castle and improving the circumstances for the Mewmen. With her mother's manifactured wand morphing into the first version of the Royal Magic Wand at Calypso's coronation, she was the first official holder of a magic wand that wasn't made from pre-existing material.

Her royal title was "the Profound", given to her for her incredible control and magic and intelligence. Power-level speaking, the ranks highly above any other queen to come after her due to the wand being in it's purest form when it was in her ownership. Calypso is regarded as one of the best queens Mewni has ever had due to her involvement with the build-up of Mewni by her mother's guidelines.
