What kind of rainbow power alicorn princess friendship shenanigans is this...This kind, apparently. I have no idea how or if this "Rainbow Wings" Twilight will tie into the show but I'm betting it on some more inner friendship rainbow power thing again. They should just start ranking these transformations.

Of course it ties in to the show because the animation itself is in MLP Movie style, and Boulder Media is animating it. High hopes for a villain that steals color.

Now the question is -- is this going to be one of the toyline-only one-shot gimmicks, or is this going to be something that'll be in the show as well? The presence of an animated clip makes me think the former, but the animation and toy departments don't seem very good at talking too each other (see the endless parade of "obviously toyetic" designs that have never gotten anything resembling merch).

Speaking of Crystallized forms, I noticed that ponies born in the Crystal Empire, with the exception of Flurry, have Crystal Pupils even when they aren't Crystallized. Why do you think that is and why does Flurry not have them?
