Description Soooo I finally found a long last anime. I was looking for it for a really long time. It would have been easier if I could remember the title... So, the anime I was looking for is Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi, no wonder I couldn't remember the title. It is about a group of demon hunters. I feel like the premise was more intriguing, than the actual show. I mean it was fun, but... I don't know, I felt like something was missing in translation.
Anyway my favorite scenes were the ones in the other world. Those looked so beautiful. So I decided to make sort of a fanart about it. I wouldn't call this strictly fanart, I was inspired by it, and decided to make a series of pictures about Koi fishes.
This is the third one. I wanted to try a more realistic approach to it.

A big one and a little one. Parent and young?

This looks really nice, especially the water and light effects ^_^

Thank you! They were not intended as a parent with its young one, but you can certainly interpret it that way, it even makes the picture a bit cuter ^.^.
The lighting on the water was really easy to do. I just used Photoshop's 'liquify' tool, and had fun with it. The light effect was a bit harder, firstΒ  I just made a layer, withΒ  light yellow spots on it, and used motion blur, to make the spots look like rays. After I put on another layer, with particle effects.I copied that, changed the color to white, and changed the layer mode to soft light.

I see

That's neat, I haven't experimented much with those tools on Photoshop...

The lighting on the water was really easy to do. I just used Photoshop's 'liquify' tool, and had fun with it. I learned since, that it looks a bit oily and heavy this way, I want to re-render the picture, and make it look a bit softer, and lighter. I want to use some blur on it, and highlight some parts with soft brushes, to make it look shinier.
