Description My take on an old Nala.

Was playing around with colour more than anything else though.

Because my tutor has managed to completely confuse me about the way I mix it and I have read two books on colour theory and flicked through a lot more. And all this has just confused me further.

So now my plan of action is to just draw stuff and see what happens

Thanks, I like it too, it was just very time consuming So I won't be doing every picture this way!

Awww, that's so great! It looks great and really captures some emotions... Have you heard "Shadow Land" from the musical? REALLY reminds me of that.

Yeah, I think that's pretty much the only musical one I've heard (yay for youtube AMVs ). Thanks! I like this style of colouring - feels more like painting than digital art so I may stick with it. That and my new photoshop is sucky and can't manage the techniques I used to use Any chance you know how to get the scatter brush effects in photoshop 6? I don't think it's possible!

I know what you mean. But it's easier than actual painting, which I seriously can't do.

Ummmm... it probably is possible but I don't know what 6 is like. I've got CS2.
Well, I'll look into it for you. There's probably a brush menu somewhere.

Cool 6 is crap Although the pressure sensitivity always works...which is something 7 had problems with. Or possibly that was just my old laptop.

Painting is all I do Am covered in the stuff at the moment. Just finished painting a colour wheel and am about to start working on a painting of my Dad.

That's why I don't like being tutored; their method of studying conflicts with my own method of learning. XD

Yeah, I see what you mean I do like learning theories though just so I can ignore them or understand why and where other artists have used them. But it can get far too confusing!
