I really tried to go as crazy as possible with this one. ^^ Still wondering how it actually might live with a head like this, but I think I have an idea: The creature would use the below "claws" to kill a victim, throw it into the air and eat it a whole with the rather big mouth. Might design the whole creature sometime actually!

I'm on the lookout for new and fantastic creatures on DA myself, always happy when I can find weird and creative new creatures. Of course I try to create something like that myself with each new creature design... not such an easy task, but I love coming up with something new / different - or at least try it

Most of my pictures tend to be a bit too dark I believe (I definitely overuse black). How do you usually ensure a picture won't be too dark, especially if it were to be printed out?
Perhaps the "monitor spider" for calibrating the monitor is a good option - I feel like my monitor has rather weird settings and thus my pictures might result in something I didn't intend.

Yeah, it has some resemblance with a jellyfish - maybe crossed with a snake, added some additional eyes and some claws and stuff ^^

Its little proptrusions remind me of an Axolotl's gill stalks
I used to have a pet one when I was a kid, I was always nervous when feeding it since it eats incredibly fast.

True, they are similar. Axolotls are quite alien-like creatures anyway - so pale and those gill stalks... really a fascinating animal it is.
I heard that Axolotls are not quite easy to keep as pet, especially because of the temperature.

Their so strange, regenerating limbs... becoming land dwellers under the right conditions...and they look weird. I love them
I dont think we had any problems keeping ours, it was kept in a normal tank and had no climate filters or anything. I wonder if it was Ok living that way...

Well, it says that they suffer from stress in water that is too warm for them, because theirΒ metabolism will work much faster then.
