Description

photo: me.
edit: me.

taken: March 23, 2012.
taken with: Nikon D40x, kit lens 18-55mm + Delta extension tube set + Hoya polarizer.

While raking the lawn few days ago I found an empty snail shell. At that moment I recalled my collection of "treasures" - all kind of shells, pebbles, stones and other troves I have ever found as a child. Why not to take some macro shots of them and learn them again, from scratch? Everything looks different when You watch very closely. My "treasure box" contains material for many many macro sessions...

These are empty snail shells i've been collecting as a child.

So glad you still have your collection. This image looks great! The water gives it life, doesn't it?

I have taken many photos of these shells, with and without water. At the moment I consider those with water as better ones
thanks!
