EGHAD! FINALLY! SOMETHING PROPERLY CGED!!! OO:fufufufu, I'm sorry for not having done something like this sooner. D: <3
This is for Ahiru-chan on gaia. >w< No, it's not a commission, but a freeb. >w< I met Ahiru in Nyo&Co's thread of gaia's anniversary 2k7. : D She had a really nice avatar, simple but nice none the less. xD <3
I really wanted to try a new CGing style. It's a bit more airbrushy instead of my usual painterly. I think it turned out alright, and it's definately something I will be testing out a bit more. ^ __^
Technical Stuffs:
- Drawn on Printer Paper (1 hr? done at chinese school x3)
- Scanned at 300 dpi
- CGing done on Photoshop CS2 (6-7 Hrs overall? Done in short periods over a span of a week)
- Textures from Photoshop
- Character belongs to Ahiru-chan at Gaiaonline
- Artwork (c) me : D

I only see a few problems with her face (her eyes are a bit werid, the whites are too big going down but that's just a style, and the nose bridge is shadowed straight up than curve, but that could just be the nose style, her ear is just a tad bit high making the line from her chin to her ear a bit not as roundish as it ought to be.
BUT this is just my opnion, so er, sorry if it's annoying or anything.)
I find it interesting the way you colored with a kinda grainy look, it fits with the picture. I also like your linear and the hands! The beautiful hands...
