For some reason I feel as though there is something missing.
Overall it is a very intriguing idea and application, yet I don't find the photo itself to be all that interesting.
To me you look very flat, I find photos without distinct shadows and highlights don't make a very interesting composition, but then again that's just me. I have seen your other pieces and they are wonderful and are definitely NOT flat.
I also find the blood droplet a bit too blurred or edit/photoshopped which, I find, takes away from the piece in it's entirety. It is distracting, although it would have been a nice touch had it been in focus, it would unify the photo a bit more, because I find this flaw disconnects things just a bit.
Something in me feels as though some teeth should be showing..It would give this photo some character.Even though I am complaining about your "flatness" I did give you average marks for impact simply because what does stand out UNDENIABLY stands out, which is good.
