Description
Here there are, my newest miniture cranes. I was trying for the world record but I found out that the smallest crane ever made was from a 1mm x 1mm square.I think my crane comes in second place with the smallest one being made with a 1.3/4mm x1.3/4mm square.
I used the cranes I made before as a size comparison.
The measurements below the pics. are the size of the squares that I used.
How did I do it you ask?
I used only one pair of needle nose tweezers and I folded it without the help of any magnifying devices.

I've been working on mini cranes too and I was wondering what kind of paper you used?

I used cigarette rolling paper.

i was thinkig of a way to make a smaller one, and the only thing that comes out, is to use aluminun foil, the thinest you can find, because paper won't make it xD! but i'm not sure if that will count

What's the smallest crane you made without tools? I'm trying to make the smallest crane I can without tools. So far I'm down to 5mm x5mm.

I've done these several times except...the more difficult way...
I can only get it down to at least 5 mm but thats it~ its too hard on the difficult fold~
But this one is easier and contains less fold~ still amazed by the fact you can still make one smaller than a grain of rice! That should be put in the Guinness World Records!

That is very cool. I recently learned how to make an oragami frog. I can't remember how small the smallest of I got was, but it was small.
Did you just use normal origami paper?
