Another one of the Star Cities, as well as some more backstory on why they are in space like this.
Over 200 years ago, the astronomers of their homeworld discovered strange patterns in the movements of the heavens and the sun. Through consultation, they realized that their sun was on the verge of exploding, threatening to destroy the entire world in less than a season. Working as fast as they could, they gathered together every available Mage, Wizard, Sage, Alchemist, Blacksmith, and anyone else who had knowledge. Within a month, they had discovered a way to lift cities off of the ground, further experimentation allowing them to guide the city off their doomed world. As soon as they came across these techniques, they tried to save everyone they could, launching hundreds of these Star Cities in the hope that even one of them would survive the explosion.
In the end, only one in ten of these Star Cities managed to survive the death of their star, those that remained drifting in terror through the maw of space in the vague hope of finding some new world to call home.
