Sailor Moon and the Power of Friendship-
For the #sailormoonredraw challenge, I wanted to do something a bit different than the usual scene of sailor moon growling on the ground. Instead, I decided to draw my favorite moment in the whole series. I wanted to redraw the moment sailor moon calls on her friends to help beyond the grave. I love how powerful this moment is. Her friends have all died trying to protect. Protect their friends, protect sailor moon, and above all, setting aside their feelings to protect the world. As each sailor guardian died it was a stab to the heart. Sailor moon only wanted to give up. She couldn’t handle so many deaths of the ones she lived most. But they pushed her forward and showed her that she needed to put the safety of the world first. She called on her friends for help and their spirits came to lend her their power to defeat queen Beryl. It was a beautiful scene which held a lot of meaning to me.
