ya u can but it depend on minimum focus distance of the lens
mine is 45 cm with or without zooming ,,, so 200mm in 45cm distance so close to macro but not like it ....
macro lenses more than one .. there is 50mm macro and 105mm and there is Sigma 70 300mm I was going to buy it but I got 18-200mm
Sigma 70 300mm have good macro in 200-300mm zoom .. so good and cheap one used for zoom and macro

hmmm.... yeah my minimum distance is 40 cm.... but thats too much -.- I want one with less minimum distance

there is something called extension tube used to make the minimum distance lower
