Description Never really got the chance to color it.

Now that I think about it, coloring car paint is ridiculously difficult.
Well, time to hit the internet books again.

Your perspective is very good, and you managed to make the models look very symmetric. I'd really like to learn to draw like this. Do you have any tips for a newbie like me?

First off, if you want to draw cars in 3/4ths view, you gotta start thinking in three dimentions. I'm guessing you have drawn cars in 2-d side views? I don't really know your skill level. Your paper may be a flat surface, but your drawings won't anymore. Since cars have such a complicated shape, start with more basic shapes to practice in perspective. A practice that will really help also is to draw from eye. Make sure your drawing reference is three dimentional and from the real world, no photos and screens (its too easy to think in 2-D that way) And to start with, no organic shapes, trust me (alot harder to give us context clues for it being in perspective) Once you think you've warmed up enough with perspective, go ahead and draw your basic concept. you can use side views and front views of your car design to help you for the 3/4ths, but DO NOT RELY ON IT. use as much reference lines as you want. (of course its alot easier said than done. KEEP PRACTICING AND KEEP YOUR HOPES UP! I will evaluate your first drawing here once you upload it to deviantart. message me once your assignment is complete (if you ever want to of course, this is all voluntary
