This portrait looks very good! Great job! I believe you have the base to become a great artist!
If I can give you a little suggestion, I think that you have to work more on proportions: the jaw is too spindly causing the mouth to be too sharp.
The color is very good! You gave the right deep to the dark, allowing a global good contrast!
