The lantern scene in this movie made me cry. Call me a wuss, I don't care; IT WAS GORGEOUS.

When I first saw the movie and this scene came up, I thought, okay, they're going to float a lantern, and then the kingdom will follow.
Much to my excitement, it was not as simple as that!!
The trail of people lighting their lanterns just kept going and going, snaking down the slopes of the Kingdom, then out to the water on the boats,
And I was like
and then I was like

Beautiful song to accompany it, too... Can't stop singing it

It's so hard to depict the emotions that come with watching this movie and trying to draw it down on paper.

So naturally, I over did it... it might look a little funky.
It started as a simple watercolor painting. It looked okay, so I went a little further by adding lines... Hm... This is turning into something else now... So I tweaked and added and all of that until it sort of turned into a busy mess.

It's so frustrating because I love that feeling that you get when you're hearing or seeing a story unfold before you and suddenly the universe opens up and your heart is full to bursting and everything is all right and...
You just can't express it properly!
