I've struggled with how to interpret the classic kaiju Gigan as a somewhat plausible creature. One of my twitter mutuals (I'm blanking out on the handle, please turn yourself in) proposed the idea of a proto-gigan that was a quadruped capable of rearing into a bipedal pose. I of course ran with the idea and created this pre-cyborgization gigan, which looks kind of like an alien hippogriff with murderclaws. Since Gigan was originally an alien counterpart to Godzilla, I imagine its wings are now ornamental and only its offspring are capable of flight (possibly just gliding) when they're small. This is why cyborg Gigan has been fitted with anti-gravity engines that it uses to fly.
