I really like the scene when Vegeta explodes with anger after Cell killed Trunks.But in my opinion they ruined it in the dub - I just hate his inner dialogue. In the Japanese dub he doesn't "say" anything that could reveal his feelings and we have to imagine what's happening inside his head. He stays badass to the very end :>
That's why it's powerful and touching, at least for me.
Backgrounds are lame but whatever.
I tried to focus just on Vegeta (well, and Trunks).

This is one of the very first moments of him ever showing emotion this would of been a great oppurtinity for him to kill cell and his love for trunks would of been the reason why. They missed a huge chance. It was great when gohan defeated trunks. But they could of really have this moment to vegeta. Great art work and great position

It's been nearly 9 years since I've sat down and watched DBZ properly, I watch it like once every few months. But I remember this episode so well I remember watching it on Cartoon Network here in the UK. My jaw dropped at that very moment where Trunks died and Vegeta went absolutely crazy!!

In my opinion, this moment right here should have help Vegeta reach SSJ2. That would have been cool, then he could have washed Cell lol, but oh well, nice drawing though ^_^

That moment was SO touching, That really showed he loved Trunks I think. Even though he acted as if he could care less of him.

I think the same! Poor Trunks... and of course Vegeta had to react. No matter he's so proud. I read the manga and saw the original dub in the anime (I think in Mexico they had the same dialogues, still not sure) Powerful, touching and full of hatred. Perfect!
One more thing, I like that all Vegeta's reactions are connected to a dead Trunks. Really nice!

Gosh I loved this moment so much!!!!! And I agree with you. In the manga, he never said anything about his feelings towards Trunks either. But you still had the feel for them when he went ballistic and charged Cell head on!
And you did this really well too! I really like the layout!! All the images of Vegeta surrounding the middle one of Trunks. Very great idea

In the manga he just says "T...Trunks..." and then screams; in the japanesse version too he's just like "I'm gonna get revenge BLA BLA BLA" at least in the kai and american version its good
