um hello, this is a very fascniating and intricate piece of work. It's well done, I really like it! is there any meaning for it? is it like a protection circle etc? and does it actually exist as a charm or is it a design you just came up with?

It is a protection circle and it's not any actual charm but just something I came up with... even if I think it would still work as an amulet. ^^
Anyway, this is part of a series I did that is inspired by six cards from 'Magic the Gathering' game which are all the various Circle of Protection... and this one in particular is the one against "black" which in the game has the most 'evil' and destructive magic.
As for the meaning of the lettering, it's reported in my comments.
Hope I answered your question and I wish to thank you for faving and commenting. ^^

Ah I see thank you very much and your welcome, lol. And I am familiar with the game, my older brother plays it and I dapple in it myself. It looks magnificant though!

Thanks for the praise. And... Yay! First comment! ^w^
Anyways what I use is Inkscape (freeware Vector Graphics program).
If you need a few pointers I'd also give this link, since it gave me some very useful hints to start off : Tutorial Link
This one uses Adobe but, apart from the names of things being different, I managed to use it also for Inkscape.

Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to make this kind of stuff with inkscape ^^
If you manage to do it, then let me see the results, 'kay?
