AVATAR, THE LAST AIRBENDER!!!!!!i'd say, it's the greatest American anime EVER!!!
this is my first fanart of it!
it's to show my love for the Avatar show. it's freakin awesome.
I drew this a while back, but never actually colored it...
soooo now i colored it and here it is. lol
Aang's the Avatar,
Katara's the girl,
Sokka's the guy on the back,
they are all riding on Appa the bisen,
Momo's on Aang's shoulder,
and Prince Zuko!!! is on the background. he's so cool. heh.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death.
Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best day of ur life tomorrow. u will either get kissed or asked out, if u break this chain u will see a little dead girl in your room tonight. in 53 mins someone will say i love you or im sorry (I'm sorry for this. I'm really gullible.... DX)

As much as i like this....and as much as you did very well on the expressions...i have to be that person and say Zuko isnt black

Dark skin does not always equal black. The artist wasn't trying to make him black. I think the dark skin in this case was casting a shadow on the character himself as being a dark character. Especially if you look at how he's towering over the rest with a sinister look and the swirling like tornado over his head. His darkness matches that vibe. My assessment could be wrong, though. And I'm black, btw.

who cares if it's an anime or a cartoon? It's obvious there're diferences, but it's not the matter here, because I'm pretty sure you came here because you like the TV show so just enjoy the drawing. Anyway, the picture is awesome and I like a lot the way you drew Katara and Sokka.

I strongly disagree with everybody else. First lets read what 'Anime" is. Anime is a short version of Animation. Is Avatar animation, yes.In Japan, anime is considered an ART FORM ( that's what the Japanese intended it to be ) and it refers to animation around the world. But the US dictionary considers it "a style produced by japan" contradicting the ORIGINAL meaning.
Its also listed on far more than a majority of anime sites and its style of drawing takes inspiration from anime or the Japanese animation.
I would consider it anime because technically the Japanese would also, as I said before about the original meaning from japan which refers to animation around the WORLD. As I said the US dictionary contradicts the original meaning so we don't see it as anime whereas with its original meaning it probably would mean that its anime.
