Meh. tried something new. Chibi painting.I'm devastated. It's only been 1 week since the new semester started and holy crap! there's so much stuff to do already. o_o
anyways. the chinese girl is saying 'thank you' (i think...) anybody who can write chinese correct me if i'm wrong. lol

It is correct, but it's "simplified" Chinese.
Why simplified...?
It should be "謝謝你"...that the thing on the very left side of the word "謝" sohuld be "言"...not "之".
Well, just let you know that simplified Chinese is not good...
They ruined all the traditions and the art within the characters..

Most Chinese ues Simplified Chinese now。It's much easier for students to learn how to write Simplified Chinese than Traditional Chinese。

Yeah, of course simplified means easier and faster.
But if you dig it in a little deeper,
you'll understand it throws out too many spirits and traditions that's within the language.
And if you dig in more into the history of China you'll understand more about why they moved it to Simplified language.
Some are fighting to get the traditional version back because there are just too many flaws and problems in Simplified Chinese.
And why I call it bad personally?
Because it feels like asking English speaking people to use "r u ok?" or "Yer hear me?" or "LMFAO" as their official written language. Now do you ge it?
And of course, it is called "simplified" for some reasons.

我懂你的意思。
不过在国内我从小接受的都是简体字的教育，个人也更习惯于写简体字了。
繁体字可能南方人用的比较多吧，比如广东省，香港，台湾等地。然后就是在海外的华人使用的较多。
话说回来，中国官方书面语言,我看到的，也是写简体字居多啊。至少新闻联播的字幕打的是简体字。^_^
这个和“ r u ok？”不大一样的是，没有说老外的新闻播放的字幕会用“r u ok？”之类的吧？
不过繁体字自有繁体字之美。我不排斥繁体字。我觉得在书法和国画中使用繁体字还是很漂亮的。可惜我只能认识部分繁体字，但是我不怎么会写。^_^
争论这个意义不大，就像国内现在在争论 普通话和粤语哪个要成为官方语言一样。使用还是看个人习惯吧。^_^

用得人多不代表他們就是傳統。
沒有西方新聞或是官方媒體會用「r u ok?」之類的東西做為媒介。
是因為他們知道什麼是正確應該使用的的，而什麼只應該在自己的小筆記本出現。
但我卻在目前的中國看到他們使用「簡」字作為官方語言。
對，這一點點傳統可能現在沒什麼重要，也甚至沒什麼必要，
因為中國用這種語言已經用了一陣子。
但我不想中文像拉丁文一樣就這樣被遺忘。
我還想看著天、拍拍胸膛說自己是個頂天立地的中國人，
我可不想身為中國人，卻對自己的語言文化一知半解。

You could also add 心 to the bottom of 你 if you want, it would make more sense but yeah... you dont have to.
