meeeeep. SUPER. AWESOME.

I'm really digging these monochrome pics. You do such a great job making really stylish art with a limited palette. I love the lighting on this one -- it feels very dramatic. The face looks great -- the one side is largely shrouded in shadows, and it makes the light on the other side really pop.

And even more than that, the hair looks AMAZING. Like, whoa.  The hair feels so lifelike -- she's got a lot of hair, and it all has this great sense of volume and flow. I like the the looser energy of the hair that falls in front of her shoulders,  and I like how the hair branches out of the tie in the back and folds and falls back down in a lifelike way. And I love that wild strand springing out from the bangs! lol But altogether, the shadows in the hair really bring it to life. It gives it such a lifelike weight, and the shadows put that energy and communicate the flow and direction of the hair and makes it look soooo pretty. I'm doing an awful job of explaining why I think the hair looks so good, but it looks fantastic -- it seems so believable, so alive and fun to see.

A little detail I noticed is the highlights on her scarf/collar. I love that you used a rougher brush to make those shapes -- it makes it look so much more lifelike, gives is a clearer fabric feel. The shape of that element is so simple and the highlights of the folds there completely bring it to life, make it look really interesting.

I can't say enough good things about this. AWESOME. Love it.
