Here's the GreeLing from FMA that I said was on it's way. I know... he has an aruaborus(spelling?) on his hand, but I just couldn't get it right and rather than f*ck up the piece by fiddling with it until I got it right, I just did away with it! Let's all just pretend it's on his OTHER hand please. XDRelated content

Yeah, I can see it. But I think it looks OK this way! The hand is in shadow and the ouroboros shouldn't be distinct... (That'd be my excuse if I drew it, anyway

What a great idea! I just went with...'I messed it up, Oh well, fu&k it!' I like your idea ofย 'I meant to do it like that' soooo much better. That's what I'm going with from now on! XD

Actually, sometimes the others know / suspect that I just messed it up but I still prefer pretending it all went as planned...
But the truth is that the author is usually the most judgemental about their artwork. I guess that's because they still compare the result with the vision they had in mind. The viewers can only see the effect so in most cases they don't notice the defects.
