Ever since the moment that Fluttershy stood up to the Dragon in the episode titled "Dragonshy" I always had a feeling that Fluttershy housed a powerful soul underneath her timid nature. All she needed was time and help from her friends for that dormant spiritual strength to surface. After the episode "Flutterbat" had shown, I never would have expected her to become a Pseudo-Vampire.
But looking back on the episode "Luna Eclipsed" I found those Pegasi carrying her on her chariot to be interesting. Apparently they weren't just the Canterlot guards dressing up to celebrate the holiday. They were in fact a rare species of Pegasi that are nocturnal and even then usually hide out in caves and mountains because other beings fear them for how they look. So perhaps Fluttershy's ancestry consists of these lesser known Pegasi?
This is all only a personal theory of mine, but that could be where this strength she possesses deep down comes from. And even so she is still the Element of Kindness. You have captured each part of what I have gone on about in this picture very well. Very well done, good sir.
