Honestly, I don't know about that... I don't think it's an issue of which is "better", and certainly not when it comes to simple artistic style (the way you've actually drawn her mane), they're simply different, and in this case I really love the ribbonlike quality to her hair and the way you drew the curls. Combined with the shading they have a certain feeling of realistic "weight" to them that I just find very appealing, so I honestly do like it a lot!

to be honest you have a point with style difrnsens,
but ironically the hair's the thing that bugs me the most to me it looks less like hair more like plastic.
by the way your atr style is still much more pleasing to the eye then my style.

I will admit that it doesn't really resemble actual hair in appearance of texture, but then again the same can certainly be said of this Rarity painting of mine. Many people apparently like it though, and I suppose it does work well enough for what it is, but I still do wish I had done better with it.
In any case I do appreciate the compliments of course, but again, when it comes to style I think it's all very subjective!
