The Yogyakarta Sultanate is unique among other monarchy. Even in paper they subject to Indonesian Central government, their influence among Javanese people are enormous, that Yogyakarta Province governance is given to them. Those facts are not changed even after Indonesia incepted into Earth Federation, and when Nusantara Space Colony group announced their autonomy over E.F. government, they seek ‘approval’ from Sultanate.

That’s why when Raden Ajeng Sustriowati (or Wati for short), a member of Sultanate Royal Family joined as Air Lancers, there are much talking. Nusantara Colony Government aided with Earth Federation Public Relation using her as propaganda tool, in hope it can motivate young girls to enlist on Java island or at Colony.

While she arose to somewhat a celebrity, her performances in field are not living up to attention she receives. She is not a shabby operator skill-wise and actually a capable lancers. But she is way too careful in flight that it hampered her maneuver.

Even with high-performance A.C.E. suits such as F-16s, her flying are linear and predictable, leading to a mockery of ‘putri solok’ (Solo Princess*), which considering her lineage, is very ironic. That said, her marksmanship are top-notch among her class, even with unreliable 1st generation attack bits she always need only one shot to hit her target.

Wati then transferred into 11th Squadron in which she is issued with Su-27. With her all of her skill considered, there were plan to acquire some Long-Range Attack Beam for her use.
